Scar/Stretch Mark Camouflage Pre Appointment Care
Things you need to know prior to your appointment.

You must be off Accutane for one year prior to facial scar/acne camouflage.​

Stop using any skin thinners such as (Vitamin A, glycolic acids, exfoliation) on the scar area 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

Cosmetic botox or fillers should only be done 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after (if in the area to be treated).

​DO NOT consume alcohol, caffeine or take any blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, 24-48 hours before your procedure, this will cause excess bleeding and may affect your results).

The area being treated HAS to be your natural skin tone. If the area is tanned you will have to wait for the tan to be gone for treatment

You may experience hypersensitivity and more pain around or during your menstrual cycle.

Universal Aftercare

Wash the treated area twice a day with non scented soap, pat dry with a clean paper towel and apply provided ointment.

After day 7 massage silicone into the scar twice a day.

For those with a bandage applied, leave the bandage on for 4 days and then start with the first then second step in these instructions.

For 2 weeks post camouflage AVOID excessive sweating, exercise, sun exposure, creams, scrubs, make-up, waxing, hot bath, hot tub and saunas.

If necessary wear loose clothing to avoid rubbing.

Do not scratch or pick at the area.
